Friday the 17 of July brought a whole lot of excitement to Harkaway Primary School. It also brought a whole lot of students, volunteers and robots!
After nearly ten years of competing in VEXiQ Robotics competitions – representing our Nation twice at world championships, we finally hosted our own event! There were sixteen teams registered. These included Rivercrest Christian College, St. Andrews, Hillcrest, Templestowe College, Highvale Secondary School and Glendal Primary School.
We have worked hard to make the South East of Melbourne a Robotics Hotspot for STEM education and robotics in particular. The fact that we can now host a stand alone event – just for VEXiQ is a huge achievement. The next step is to get even more schools involved!
